It all happened last summer. I was having a good time
at the beach, just relaxing and sunbathing. It was a sunny day with no wind.
The water was also warm, around 27° C. It was crowded, but I didn’t see any of
my friends. So I decided to go swimming.
There was a tower, where people could practice water
jumps. I decided to go there and jump down from 8 meters. I had never jumped
from that height…
So I climbed to the top of the tower. It was a
winding stairway so I got a bit dizzy. As I reached the top I saw the
magnificent view to the lake. The water was still. And all of the people were
so small. As I reached to the jumping point I jumped. When I hit the water, I
was shocked. My legs started cramping and I had hit my leg against something.
It was a sharp rock. I managed to get out of the water and get to the shore,
but when I got to my stuff, I noticed that my leg was bleeding.
I walked to the lifeguard and got my leg cleaned and
bandaged. When I got back home, I was glad that my leg was OK. Although I hurt
my leg, it had been one of my best days of the summer.
