Charlotte Bronte “Jane Eyre”

This is a tragic story about a girl called Jane Eyre who suffers more in her life than 10
other persons usually do. If someone is really depressed, read this book and you realize how good your life really is.
She has bad stepparents who send her to school for poor people where Jane has to suffer diseases, problems with teachers, but she gets relatively good education and becomes a teacher. Soon she goes to teach a girl called Adele who has rich single father, Mr. Edward Rochester who falls in love with Jane. Everything goes well and the day they will marry, it turns out that Rochester has a crazy wife upstairs. Of course Jane escapes and meets new people who are actually her relatives.
Then she gets a big heritage what she generously splits with others. A missioner asks her to marry him and go to Africa, but of course she refuses... and goes back to Thornfield to meet his Edward.
When she arrives, the house is burned and there is no one there. But she finds a servant
who explains everything and says the new location of her fiance. Jane Eyre finds his Edward. It turns out that he is partly crippled because of the fire and her crazy wife has died. They get quietly married and have children.

There are 2 main characters in this story. First one is Jane Eyre, quiet, suffering girl and later woman. It’s sometimes sad to read the lines and I believe some girls cried like then, when the couple in Titanic said goodbye.
Mr. Edward Rochester is quite strict Englishman.

I didn’t like the book because it was so boring. There was far too little action and the
story was too imaginary. Characters are so modest but the story is unbelievable and full of
coincidences. Poor girl suffers, finds rich husband, who has a crazy wife. When poor girl escapes, she finds her relatives and guess what, gets big heritage. Characters and story don’t mix well.

I think everybody reads the book because it’s so famous and people believe it must be good. I will advise nobody to read this book. This is a complete waste of time! Go play football or read science fiction or even ”Romeo and Juliet”! Blame yourself if you start to read this book.
