PETER’S SCHOOL

There are many schools in town and in the country. Some are big and some are small. Peter thinks that his school is the best. He thinks that his class is the best and he has the best classmates. His school is more than one hundred years old. There are more than one thousand students and many classes in his school. He doesn’t know them all. There are 62 teachers in Peter’s school. Some of them are very popular. He likes his teachers of Estonian and maths very much.

Peter’s class.

In Peter’s class there are 36 students: 17 girls and 19 boys. They all are active students. They study pretty well. They like lessons in Estonian, English, maths and computer studies. Some students like history, but nobody likes physics and chemistry. The teacher of chemistry is dull. Peter’s class is very friendly. They often organize their own parties and outings. One student in Peter’s class is a very good photographer. He takes many photos. The class has an album where you can see the history of the class. It’s very interesting.

Peter’s timetable.

A student’s timetable is usually overloaded. Every day there are seven or eight lessons. Lessons usually begin at eight a.m. and are over at two or three p.m. Sometimes the timetable is not good: the difficult subjects are all in one day. Some days there are many easy lessons such as music, P.E. and arts. On Peter’s timetable Monday is the most difficult day. There are eight lessons and the most difficult subjects, too – maths, physics, chemistry and literature. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are easier days. Thursday is a good day. Friday is the easiest day, only four lessons and his favourite subjects – Estonian, English, history and computer studies. It’s fun!
