What is an ideal house? I define it as the best place to live in, which one can call “Home sweet home”.

I want to live in the house of my dreams when I retire and have lots of free time to enjoy every single second there. It will have to be in a peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by a big garden with lots of flower-beds and birds singing.

Inside there should be a comfortable living-room, with a large fireplace and a connention with the kitchen. Then I could sit before the chimney, telling my grandchildren wonderful stories while my wife is cooking something delicious in the kitchen and all the good smells floating around.

Upstairs I’d like to have an old four-poster bed and a big window in the roof, so I could watch the stars at night. Also I’d like to be woken up by birds’ singing and the pleasant smell of coffee coming from downstairs.

I hope this house comes to real, when I get older and I can read this story and relax, as I have reached my goal: ”My Ideal House”.
