Winter

Winter is a cold season in our country. December, January and February are winter months. We usually have a lot of snow in winter. Everybody likes snow. Why? In winter people can skiing. They often go on ski-outings with their families and friends. Children always like to make a snowman. Boys usually like to play snowballs.

New Year’s Day is also in winter. It is a happy holiday for everybody.

In January schoolchildren have their winter holidays. Then they can go skiing and skating, they can go to the country or they can visit their friends. During the holidays schoolchildren like to watch TV, play records and read books at home. They have a good rest, but they also help their parents with the housework.
